Fall Migration Bird Walk

Fall Migration Bird Walks: Friday October 2nd and Saturday October 10th
Join our Ned Smith Center educators for a brisk morning walk to look for birds and experience fall migration! The Ned Smith Center welcomes birders of all ages and skill levels as we take a group birding excursion through the Ned Smith Center lands. Whether you’re new to birding, or a seasoned veteran looking to brush up on some ID skills, this is the perfect opportunity to spend a leisurely morning along Berry Mountain. Sightings will be compiled and entered into an eBird checklist at the conclusion of the morning.
We’ll meet in the parking lot of the Ned Smith Center at 7:30 am and wrap up mid-morning. Stick around as long as you want – socially distant hot chocolate and tea will be available when we return from our walk! Extra binoculars and bird guides will be available to borrow. See you there!
