Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art

The Ned Smith Center Nature & Arts Festival Returns!

The Ned Smith Center’s Nature & Arts Festival will be happening this year! After cancelling last year’s festival due to government mandates because of the Covid-19 pandemic, it will be returning to the MYO Park on July 31st from 10am to 4pm! Since 1994, the Center has held its annual festival, which began as the “Ned Smith Tribute Festival” every summer. Now, more than 25 years later, this event is still going strong, bringing family-friendly, educational entertainment to thousands of people all over central Pennsylvania. Although elements of the festival have changed over the years, certain favorite activities have become permanent fixtures, like the make-it-yourself bluebird boxes, live musical guests, delicious local food and artisan vendors and our fish-print t-shirts!

This year will look a bit different, but rest assured we plan on holding the festival the last Saturday in July like it has been for a decade or more. The Ned Smith Center will scale back some of its usual educational entertainment but come up big on the fun for the whole family. There will be plenty to do for the young and the young at heart, along with an assortment of vendors and food trucks along with demonstrations and so much more! The Center will expect all festival goers to follow local and state Covid-19 guidelines and rules. The Ned Smith Center will also be open during the day to view our galleries and hike the trails!

Vendor space will be FREE this year to all who attend, but spaces will be limited so make sure to log onto nedsmithcenter.org to fill out and send back a vendor form as soon as possible. As the event draws near, make sure to follow our social media for all updates and for our official 2021 Nature & Arts Festival brochure.

We cannot wait to be back at the MYO Park this year, join us for this annual family celebration of nature and the arts; the perfect way to celebrate summer!
